Roadworks Round-up
Clearly this is a lot of road closures at the same time that are inevitably going to cause delays to some journey times. The work is much needed, particularly the surface work on Parkway that people have been calling for. The three Lostock and Barton Councillors continue to monitor the situation.
Good news for Lostock Park
Lostock Park in Stretford is set to undergo a transformation worth almost £110,000. The cash injection will see the arrival of a beginners’ skate area, new gym equipment and a woodland trail.
A joint project between The Veolia Environmental Trust, The Friends of Lostock Park and The One Trafford Partnership (OTP), the investment will bring an outdoor gym comprised of fifteen stations, a novice skate area that complements the park’s already-existing bowl which is more suited to experienced skaters, and a new woodland walking and running trail.
