The Messenger is reporting that the McDonalds at Urmston Retail Park got its plans to open 24 hrs approved at the September Planning Meeting in Trafford Town Hall.
I called the application into committee, but sadly wasn’t able to be there as I was away. My concern is that Urmston Retail Park is becoming a motorway service station by stealth. We now have Starbucks and McDonalds offering refreshment 24 hours a day just off the M60. The precedent is set for others and perhaps electric charging facilities.
